Latin America. AEQ has appointed Ignacio Alonso Montull as the new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Iván Olmeda, after 5 years at the helm of the Company.
Ignacio Alonso has more than 25 years of experience in the Electronics and Telecommunications industry, linked to different facets: Research and development, manufacturing, marketing, entrepreneurship and management.
"Ignacio's appointment is an important step for AEQ's growth. After years of significant advances at the organizational and product level, it is a guarantee to start another stage with a person with Ignacio's profile and experience. With its entry, we hope to advance in the coverage of new challenges in audio and professional communications by making available to customers the possibilities offered by new technologies to facilitate maintenance, flexibility of resources and remote production," said Miguel Sancho, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Since its foundation in 1979, AEQ has been a leading manufacturer especially in the field of audio and communications equipment for the broadcast and retransmission environment of major sporting events. With the acquisition of Kroma Telecom in 2014, it increased its development potential for intercom solutions for television production.
AEQ has its factory, Research and Development laboratory, and headquarters in the Leganés Technology Park, Madrid, Spain, with delegations in the USA, Mexico, Portugal and India.
