HD Cameras
The manufacturer presents its new HD line consisting of 4 cameras with different features: the SK-HD2200 studio-body camera, the SK-HD1200 handheld camera, the DK-HD200 camera-box, all based on 3Gbps technology; the fourth camera is the SK-HD2000.
The first design concept was based on compliance with the SMPTE424M standard. Hitachi employed a new 2/3-inch 1080/60p native-scan Ultra-advanced, as well as an interline CCDs that ensure accurate color reproduction and high levels of image detail.
In addition, it has a 175MHz RGB 30-bit processor, a bi-directional progressive transmission and multi-format outputs.
Users of these cameras can select how to employ advanced processing by selecting the operation in 1080/60p or 1080/60i. The digital fiber transmission system can be used with a single 3Gbps camera or with two 1080i cameras. This reduces the fiber cable needed and ensures compatibility with 3D Vision systems.
