JVC's GY-HM100U ProHD camera incorporates streaming aspects of some video recorders included in a lightweight and manageable version. With the ability to shoot in HD over 35 Mbps, the camera adapts to a new level of quality, eliminating problems associated with other methods.

This version was manufactured behind ProHD cameras that recorded images on tape, rather than through SDHC cards.

Additional features of this product include a focus assist, uncompressed audio capability, optical image stabilizer, and two interchangeable SDHC slots.
