ProHD Camera
The new JVC GY-HM710 camera is built with the same third-generation chassis as its ProHD camera series. It combines its compact shoulder shape with its high performance in 1080 in progressive and interlaced modes.

This camera is suitable for coverage of events, documentaries, news in ENG and educational applications. JVC's recording technology allows you to record in ready-to-edit formats in programs such as Apple Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere (. MOV), as in other NLE systems, such as .MP4. For older applications you can burn images in SD (480i) and in standard DV files (.AVI or . MOV).

The GY-HM710U features a standard bayonet lens mount and comes with Canon 14:1 lenses. It also includes several image customization modes. Among other applications, the camera includes a high-resolution LCOS viewfinder (1.22 million pixels) and a 4.3-inch monitor, plus two XLR audio inputs and controls for the manual audio level with sound meter.
