Colombia. The ICT Ministry trained 374 young people and professionals in the audiovisual industry of the municipality of Popayán, Cauca, with the passage of EduMóvil, the itinerant production center whose objective is that the children and young people of the country start in the audiovisual world, and with an academic day at the Comfacauca University Corporation.
"One of the strategic lines of MinTIC is to provide training to our children, young people and professionals to strengthen the audiovisual industry. We have several projects focused on this, for example, the 'EduMóvil' that is specially designed to reach the most remote places in our country and open the door of audiovisual production as an opportunity for new generations, "said ICT Minister Mauricio Lizcano.
During the passage of the 'EduMóvil' through Popayán, 221 young people learned about the production of audiovisual content and multi-camera production, through the workshops given by the MinTIC and Teleantioquia team. So far this year, MinTIC has trained 486 children and young people with this project allowing them to experience first-hand the magic of television.
Likewise, an academic day was held at the Comfacauca University Corporation with the project 'Audiovisual Promotion Colombia', which was attended by 153 young people and industry professionals in the region. In this event held by MinTIC in partnership with Telepacífico and Teleantioquia, 11 expert panelists participated who spoke about audiovisual production powered by Artificial Intelligence and the challenges facing the industry today.
