The NAB Show 2023 version is special for several reasons. The first is that this, the most important fair of the broadcast industry in America, celebrates its 100 years, a milestone undoubtedly important. The second is the good expectations that are had in the industry for attendance, reunite with colleagues and friends and know the latest in technologies, after a few difficult years.
This was expressed by different integrators and distributors of broadcast technology from different countries in Latin America, with whom TVyVideo + Radio had the opportunity to speak for Edition 2 of 2023 of the magazine that we will have circulating in Las Vegas.
In most cases, they expressed that, despite the economic situation brought by the pandemic and the shortage of equipment by manufacturers, they managed to close a successful and positive year in 2022, thanks to the reactivation of projects and the technological adaptation to face the new realities.
On the trends that are attracting the most attention in the industry in our region, and of which new developments are expected at NAB Show, the guests at this edition highlighted the cloud, IP solutions, virtual reality, augmented reality and remote production.
This year TVyVideo+Radio will be present in Las Vegas and will offer its Fiesta Alegría, the obligatory stop for Latinos attending NAB Show. This year it will be Monday, April 17.
