Latin America. Brainstorm introduced an extended ecosystem based on Edison PRO, the cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for creating impactful live or online presentations and videos including the presenter in live 3D virtual environments.
Based on Brainstorm's 30 years of experience in broadcast, virtual sets and AR, and designed to meet the needs of smaller broadcasters and production companies, live event companies, corporations and educational institutions, Edison PRO allows anyone to create virtual productions with ease, including virtual sets, XR and AR content.
The Edison ecosystem, developed around Edison PRO, is a modular proposal that allows transforming the creation of virtual content live or online into an immersive experience through the use of AR and virtual environments. It has been devised to help the user enhance their narrative with real-time 3D graphics and other visual elements, while including themselves in the scene. Presenters are introduced to a photorealistic virtual environment and can easily direct the presentation with clickers or other types of remote controllers.
The Edison ecosystem includes custom capture environments and apps such as Edison eDesk and EdisonGO, a simple but powerful creation system such as Edison PRO and allows control devices (Stream Deck) and free applications such as Edison OnDemand so that any user can take advantage of the powerful tools of Edison PRO. Edison eDesk includes a portable chroma set and a desk with workstation, camera and lights, making it a self-sufficient, ready-to-use all-in-one solution.
And if the user prefers to make fully realistic augmented reality presentations, the Edi-sonGO application uses an iPad Pro to provide video with tracking information to Edison PRO, which can insert augmented reality objects of any kind into context.
Last but not least, Edison OnDemand is a free application that runs in a web browser, allowing users to instantly create a presentation by simply connecting to the Edison PRO remotely, selecting an existing background, adding the necessary slides, and using the remote machine to run the presentation. Thus, users without any knowledge of Edison can create amazing presentations, while more experienced users can elaborate such material.
