Latin America. MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Solutions appointed Video Systems as its partner and exclusive representative in Brazil, as part of its strategy to expand its network in Latin America and the Caribbean.
That is, the brand officially launched a new initiative for the growth of its businesses in the region, with the appointment of Video Systems, who will work closely with MultiDyne's sales and business development team, to increase the visibility of the brand throughout the Brazilian territory.
This union is further consolidated with the public launch of the partnership at the SET Expo held at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo (August 23-25). There will be Video Systems making a presence at stand D22.
Benefits of this union
It is relevant to know that Video Systems has represented the main broadcast and AV brands in Brazil for 30 years, so it provides a full range of services to end customers, through sales and technical support.
In that sense, the company's brand portfolio ranges from content acquisition to signal transmission, while offering flexible CAPEX and OPEX models to acquire or rent, from standalone components to complete systems.
Consequently, the new partnership provides significant benefits for both companies. On the one hand there is Video Systems' established commercial presence in Brazil, coupled with its technical expertise, its understanding of end-user needs and emerging trends in the Brazilian market gives MultiDyne a competitive advantage.
In the complementary sense Video Systems benefits from making the company a perfect fit to build multiDyne's presence. For Video Systems, MultiDyne represents an opportunity to reinforce its value proposition as a provider of complete solutions, adding to its portfolio a wide range of fiber optic transport, audio processing and compression technologies.
João Melo, Broadcast Sales Director at Video Systems, commented, "MultiDyne has a reputation for designing robust and flexible products for almost every part of the content chain."
He added, "We see many opportunities to introduce MultiDyne into live production projects for sports and music festivals, as well as for our traditional digital television and film customers. We look forward to formally introducing MultiDyne to the Brazilian market at set Expo, where we will showcase the SilverBack range of fiber camera adapters, the VF-9000 bulk transport solution and many other products."
Michael Jordan, MultiDyne's director of business development for Canada, CALA and APAC, noted that Brazil offers an ideal mix of opportunities for MultiDyne's products due to its strong film production industry, its expansive sports market and the overall need for fiber optic solutions to meet signal transport needs across large and dispersed regions.
He also indicated that this is essentially the first phase of MultiDyne's strategy for business growth in the CALA region, which includes the establishment of a network of channel partners throughout the region.
Finally, Jordan assured that they have a particular interest in Argentina, Colombia and Paraguay, "where today we are actively looking for channel partners. We will continue to expand beyond these countries and across the region as we amplify MultiDyne's already global brand."
