Colombia. During the next 21 and 22 July 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies will hold the fourth regional edition of Colombia 4.0 in Bucaramanga, which will be face-to-face and virtual with the aim of strengthening the Digital and IT Creative Industries in this area of the country.
The event will have an academic agenda, led by experts in different topics from Argentina, Spain, the United States, Mexico and Colombia; and, in addition, it will have spaces in which workshops will be developed, coworking area, commercial exhibition and technological experiences.
The development of each of these themes responds to the fact that Bucaramanga has been betting on strengthening the ICT industry. "An example of this is that in this city the Santander CORPORATE IT Cluster was created in 2020, in order to consolidate corporate innovation programs, connect sophisticated companies nationally and internationally, promote spaces with high impact in international markets and carry out co-creation projects with the industries prioritized in the department, "- Carmen Ligia Valderrama Rojas, ICT Minister, highlighted.
For this reason, in each of the spaces of this version the themes of entrepreneurship, video games, animation and audiovisual industry, innovation 4.0 and digital skills will be developed. MinTIC will take advantage of the city's infrastructure and hold the event at the NeoMUNDO Innovation, Science and Technology Center.
Given the thematic variety, this event is aimed at content creators, entrepreneurs, amateurs and professionals of the ICT industry and citizens in general, who for two days will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the ICT sector from different approaches.
