Colombia. With more than 2,000 customers in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Peru, 30 distributors nationwide and more than 40 employees, Teleredes celebrates 10 years in the Colombian market as one of the main manufacturers of hardware for the installation of telecommunications infrastructures.
During his career he has managed to identify the main needs of the market and the most important moments for its growth, it was thus that in 2020 he managed to grow by more than 120%, driven by the situation worldwide.
According to Andrea Tatiana Carvajal, commercial and legal director of Teleredes "As a family business, we are pleased with our growth, since with the impact of the pandemic our sales skyrocketed by 500%, as the demand for the Internet intensified alliances with ISPs, not only in Colombia, where we are manufacturers for more than 2000 Internet service providers, but it also opened up the possibilities for us to consider expansion in Latin America. Currently, in Ecuador we have 13 companies that make use of our products, we are suppliers for 8 companies in Venezuela and 5 in Peru".
The manufacture of these hardware and accessories are an imminent necessity for Internet operators, since they guarantee the proper functioning and construction of connections for neighborhoods, highways and trunks. The company has facilitated fiber optic cabling installations, through the sale of more than 200,000 units per month.
Its factory is located in Bogotá and from there the distribution is made for the rest of the country. To meet the needs of the Orinoquía region, with a greater focus on Meta, Casanare and Arauca, a point of sale open to the public was established a year ago in the city of Villavicencio, which has allowed to expand the coverage of the products and provide solutions to emergency situations in which long distances can hinder the distribution and logistics processes.
"Our projection for this year is to achieve an increase of at least 60% in sales, compared to 2021. By 2023, we will work on being leaders in the manufacture of hardware for the installation of fiber optic networks in Colombia and in the countries that make up Central America and the Southern Cone, being at the forefront of technological updates and novelties with the peace of mind of contributing to the construction of secure, innovative and highest quality connections", Carvajal added.
In line with the fulfillment of this strategic objective, the company will participate in the Andina Link 2022 event that will take place in Cartagena from March 8 to 10 and where it will present its innovative solutions at stand 17. These are some advantages of using these hardware: they are easy and safe to place, no specialized tool is required for installation, it can be put manually. They are resistant to drafts, resistant to corrosion, high tensile strength, resistant to deterioration and abrasion, easy identification of measurement according to color set in tip.
