Latin America. Chyron introduced PRIME Platform 4.3, which provides a full set of production capabilities including live graphics, production switching, video wall and scaling, touchscreen control, branding, venue control and augmented reality.
Version 4.3 of this flexible and scalable platform introduces the new PRIME Edge module for the creation, deployment and management of interactive viewer-controlled graphics. Working with PRIME Edge, designers can use the same familiar interface of PRIME Designer to create graphics with interactivity that allows viewers to determine what they watch, whether it's watching sports, elections, financial news, lifestyle shows, or other shows.
In addition to the introduction of the PRIME Edge module, the release of PRIME Platform 4.3 brings important new features to some of its other key modules.
Along with the improved text format, PRIME CG now includes a QR code effect, allowing you to generate a QR code to place in a PRIME scene directly from the app. In this streamlined workflow, users can dynamically replace the URL to generate QR codes to direct viewers to online content or sponsor content.
Other new features support the usefulness of the PRIME platform in a wide range of use cases. Support is now available for 23.98 and 24 FPS, commonly used by Hollywood studios and others to create long-form videos.
Additional support for the NMOS protocol ensures the device's discoverability and connectivity, underscoring Chyron's commitment to offering IP-ready solutions.
The PRIME Switcher module now features UI improvements and multi-viewer enhancements. In particular, PRIME Switcher includes controls for creating standard DVE within the switch interface, in addition to previously available tools for creating upstream DVE in the PRIME CG interface.
