Mexico. In order to update its image, Channel 44 relied on Igson Graphics in its stand-alone version for the creation of graphics for its different television programs.
Channel 44 is a project of the University of Guadalajara that began broadcasting on January 31, 2011 as a new proposal on public television in Mexico. It offers culture, information and entertainment through the transmission of various programs: informative, children's, musical, documentaries, scientific, sports and alternative cinema.
For channel 44 it was necessary to have a software that allowed it to generate different types of graphics and that was versatile with the image and video formats to be able to create the different plecas, logos and ribbons that they needed to renew the image of the channel.
This has been possible with Igson Graphics since it has an unlimited number of layers among them: images, texts, ribbons, tickers, credits, color shapes, image sequences, stopwatches and video graphics.
Another requirement of Channel 44 was to be able to manage all the plecas they had in stock so that they only had to be loaded into a new project and have them available at the moment to launch them on the air. This has been possible since the stand alone version of Igson Graphics has 30 virtual buttons to activate and deactivate each of the graphics events.
By having this new function, channel 44 can not only load its animations in the most common video formats, but also edit the size and complement with fixed text or through RSS feeds to always offer the most current information at the moment.
