Latin America. The Darien is known as a plant block that extends on the border between Panama and Colombia, literally it is a jungle so complex and impenetrable that it leaves South and Central America between Colombia and Panama without connection.
It is also known for being the route of migrants who daily try to cross at the risk of their own lives; this social reality was covered for the three-part special "In the bowels of the Darien" for Teletica Costa Rica by reporter Álvaro José Sánchez Córdoba and his cameraman Erick Mena, who used a LU600 unit to broadcast live and direct the dangers of trying to cross the Darien Gap.
