Latin America. Avid named Adistec Corp. as the primary and sole distributor of the entire Avid audio and video product portfolio for Avid's established network of resellers in Latin America.
By establishing Adistec as a strategic partner, Avid will leverage its experience in the territory to accelerate its logistics, finances and other processes in the region to keep pace with the growing demand in the television, cinematography, music and education markets.
Headquartered in Miami, Adistec is a value-added distributor of high-tech products that includes networking, security and data center products with expertise in technological and commercial requirements that vary greatly from country to country. Adistec complements its offerings with cloud services operating in several of its data centers, as well as extensive consulting and education services.
Many tech companies turn to Adistec to extend their product offerings to Latin America, including several technology brands and networks that are part of the exclusive Fortune 1,000 group. Avid is the initial partner of Adistec's newly created media and entertainment division.
