5 requirements for the traffic and planning system

Nowadays media companies need to be able to distribute their content and reach the largest number of viewers across more and more platforms. Therefore, to survive, it is essential to have a traffic and planning system that adapts to this new reality.

System customization and analytical reports in an intuitive and simple way
First of all, having metadata customization functionalities in any element of the system is crucial to having a competitive traffic system. Also, if you want to have a highly customizable system, it is essential to have an open and documented API (application programming interface) that, through the development of your own integrations, allows the creation or expansion of software functionalities.

Therefore, it is crucial to have a traffic system that facilitates the management of campaigns in an optimal and intelligent way and that allows users to define time slots (such as children's time slots) to have greater control over the content and broadcast.

Also, having advanced management options such as allowing users to establish automatic rules and settings to avoid the repetition of a specific ad or even prohibit the broadcast of a certain type of advertising in specific time slots, such as children's time, brings with it great advantages for professionals. In essence, users can automate the planning of their channel's advertising with complete freedom and can also, as mentioned in one of the previous points, make ex post reports of the real benefits obtained by advertising planning.

100% web software, available in any browser
To encourage collaborative work and that multiple users can simultaneously access the traffic system from any browser and device, it is necessary that its architecture is 100% web-based. This feature allows professionals to organize and control all their channel's programming anywhere, anytime.

Similarly, having the ability to install the system both in the cloud and on-premises or having it available under a service business model (SaaS) offers users greater flexibility in deciding which type of system deployment might work best based on their present and future needs.
