Latin America. Primestream's digital media management platform has long been known for its ability to automate workflows that allow media departments to take full advantage of metadata.
It's not just for search as Primestream uses metadata to trigger internal and external actions and processes, including third-party applications and even console and switch automation, eliminating the need for other workflow automation systems.
Primestream has expanded those metadata sources to include AI engines from all major vendors, including AWS, Google, and IBM, and adding new AI visualization capabilities at the same time. The company stores AI data in its native format and presents the data using the Primestream Elastic Viewer ™, which can be customized to display any combination of sources and filters, dynamically changing and displaying different types of results in a multitrack timeline against the image.
Companies looking to leverage AI analytics results in their media production workflows no longer need to work with each data source separately and merge the data manually or by using third-party applications that can increase the time and cost of using AI utilization. And since the data is stored in its native format and the viewer is customizable, Primestream allows users to take advantage of new and more powerful AI engines as they are presented without needing software updates.
Combining AI metadata with the programming and automation capabilities of Primestream and Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, After Effects, and Photoshop creates an environment where decisions can be automated based on intelligent analytics and benefit the entire organization, all without abandoning the applications that professionals are using every day.
A key new capability this year is ingestion from cameras with transmission via cellular networks in HLS and NDI formats with real-time transcoding to various formats. This unique capability enables live production using cellular infrastructure and low-cost internet compared to SDI and satellite; and edit while the content is still being ingested.
