Peru. The Supervisory Body for Private Investment in Telecommunications – OSIPTEL invites students in the last year of their degree or graduates of Law, Economics and Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Systems and Informatics), who seek to specialize in the field of telecommunications regulation, to participate in the 60 scholarships offered by the CEU OSIPTEL Training Program, which will run from December 16, 2019 to March 13, 2020.
The program seeks to provide the necessary tools to understand and analyze the technical, economic and legal aspects of the telecommunications industry, through subjects whose contents are aimed at providing the necessary knowledge for a full understanding of telecommunications regulation; which will then result in the incorporation of more technical professional profiles with strategic vision for this sector.
In this way, OSIPTEL seeks to train high-potential professional cadres by promoting the interest of students in the development of the telecommunications sector and incorporating young talents from Lima and the interior of the country through a transparent, equitable and inclusive process.
Therefore, OSIPTEL will provide financial support for graduates and students of the last year of their degree, and will cover the accommodation expenses of students from the interior of the country.
It will also offer an agreement of pre-professional or professional practices to those scholarship holders who occupy the first positions for each of the different specialties of the University Extension Course.
