Colombia. Audiovisual production is experiencing an unparalleled moment. The number of platforms, screens, internet penetration and personalized and immersive experiences, have allowed the consumption of video content to increase. Youtube alone reports a billion hours of daily views on its platform. And it's not the only one.
There are multiple content offers currently available to a consumer who has also come to have an active role with interactivity and content production and, above all, difficult to captivate. From large productions of movies and series, news, sports and live shows, tutorials, video games, and even poor quality content recorded with a cell phone, the offer is wide and varied.
And that is precisely one of the challenges facing the broadcast industry around the world today. That is why it is essential to have professionals who have the knowledge, creativity and capacity for innovation to captivate a dispersed audience in an infinity of options.
That creativity and innovation must start from each person, but it must also be fostered and strengthened by the vocational training process. And aware of the importance of recognizing, highlighting and motivating the university work carried out by future professionals in this industry, TVyVideo+Radio presents the TecnoTelevisión University Contest in its 2019 version.
The seventh version of the Contest seeks to recognize the work carried out in universities by future professionals in the industry, in order to encourage interest in their practical training through a video in which they narrate a story of free theme.
That is why TecnoTelevisión&Radio seeks from the Contest university filmmakers who show and bear witness with their achievements, stories on a topic of their interest, that they are passionate about, and so they can capture in their videos the best narrative and technical qualities, which account for their skills and knowledge during their training process.
Registrations will be open until Friday, September 13, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
The creators of the winning audiovisual piece will receive:
- Plaque
- Article in the magazine TVyVideo+Radio highlighting the profile of the winner(s) and the work.
