Colombia. The Spanish manufacturer of audio/video IP encoders Prodys, is gaining more and more references in Colombia, both on radio and television channels, according to the report of its local distributor, Aspa Andina.
In the case of video, the new Ikusnet2 equipment has once again earned the trust of the sports channel Winsports, who highlight the stability, robustness and coding quality offered by Prodys, where with the recent implementation of the H265 protocol (HEVC) in its equipment the bandwidth consumption in IP video transmissions is optimized, thus allowing high quality bidirectional links between different parts of the world, either on MPLS channels or even on conventional ADSL.
To this important supply of Ikusnet2 ST equipment made in Winsports, is added the Prodys Remote Management Software, called Prodys Control Plus, which allows (in the case of video equipment) to have tools such as Ikusmatrix for a faster and easier video production.
In addition to being able to remote 100% the equipment of both video (Ikusnet1 and Ikusnet2) and audio (Prontonet and Quantum), regardless of whether they are portable or stationary, where it is enough that any computer is turned on and has at least one IP interface that registers against the Internet, so that the Server of said tool can access the equipment, even if you are behind networks with Firewalls, 3G/4G connection, WIFI, etc.
Likewise, in the case of Audiocoders, the successful Quantum Lite model continues to be strongly implemented nationwide, in this case adding the Caracol Radio radio chain as one more customer of this robust IP transmission solution, which is already widely recognized in clients such as RCN Radio, Olympic Radio Organization, Radiopolis, Blu Radio, RTVC, among many other customers.
