Colombia. Until February 6, the MINISTER OF ICT of Colombia, Sylvia Constaín, will hold meetings in different cities of the country to socialize the ICT modernization bill, which will be discussed again in Congress in March.
There will be a total of 11 meetings that began on January 17 and continue this week:
- 30 January Medellin
- 31 January Popayán
- February 1 Santa Marta and Quibdó
- February 4 Cali
- February 5 Barranquilla
- February 6 Cali
The Minister of ICT, Sylvia Constaín, said that the most important thing about these meetings is to have a direct dialogue with citizens, in order to clear the doubts that exist about the text that is processed in Congress and to be able to collect all the opinions and proposals. Admission is free.
"We will have the opportunity to dialogue with citizens about this bill that is so important for the future of the country, because it is a tool for economic reactivation, brings connectivity to the regions, generates competitiveness and employment, and strengthens public radio and television," said Constaín.
