Hitachi
The SK-UHD4000 camera is the first UHD camera to employ industry-standard 2/3-inch B4 bayonet lenses. The 2/3-inch sensors provide the depth of field and high sensitivity needed for traditional TV studios and sports production, without the prohibitive costs of the special lenses required.
This 4K color camera can be used with existing 2/3-inch studio and field ENG lenses without the use of an optical-mechanical adapter between the camera and the lens.
A unique 4-sensor high-precision optical system and the latest MOS sensor technology deliver 4K (3,840 X 2,160) and 2K (1,920 x 1,080) video simultaneously. The camera's controls and footprint are the same as current broadcast HDTV cameras, it works like a regular HD camera (1,920x1,080/60p) while recording 4K in real time.
Additionally, the new Hitachi RLAC (2-dimensional real-time lens aberration correction) system eliminates most of the side chromatic aberrations of the lenses.
