MediaKind is partnering with entertainment service provider, Tangerine Global, to enhance its "Citrus" managed solution with new cloud-based capabilities so that small and medium-sized pay-TV operators can deliver cutting-edge immersive OTT media experiences, with the potential to expand further.

The updated version of Citrus allows existing Mediaroom customers to enhance their existing on-premise IPTV deployments, leveraging MediaFirst's modern user experience and OTT delivery capabilities, while also choosing to reduce existing OPEX, including platform upgrade support and licensing costs.

This solution combines the strengths of traditional Pay-TV service quality and content depth, along with the personalization, interactivity, and multi-screen viewing capabilities of OTT TV offerings.
