Colombia. After three years and five months as director of the National Television Authority, ANTV, lawyer Ángela María Mora Soto resigned from her position without details of that resignation being known so far.
The former director of the ANTV stood out for facing the problems of the entity, continuing the implementation of Digital Terrestrial Television, the promotion of public television and the new regulation of community television and the award of Channel 1 to a single proponent.
After accepting her resignation, the National Television Board, JNTV, appointed Dr. Mariana Viña Castro as director in charge of the entity. She is a lawyer from the Externado de Colombia University, and a specialist in Public and Economic Law from the same university.
She has a recognized career of more than 17 years in the ICT sector of which during the last six she has served as an advisor and secretary of the JNTV. The new director of the ANTV must

- Ernesto Orozco Orozco - Representative of the Governorates in the National Television Board
