Brazil. ShowCase Pro presents in Brazil solutions and services in accessibility for the audiovisual market, including the launch of a tool that inserts the resource of Signal Language in video, a new technology that translates the hidden legends in Libras (Brazilian Signal Language) through an avatar that represents sign language. The tool can be transmitted by the two-screen system (Picture-in-Picture) of televisions, computers and other consoles.
To make this resource accessible to the market, the company automated the process, which makes it possible to reduce recording costs and increase the feasibility of implementation in stations and communication vehicles of various sizes throughout Brazil.
"The intention of the launch of the automatic insertion of Libras is that it is a gateway and dissemination of new accessibility tools to serve the hearing impaired, and the Digital TV market, proposing increasingly appropriate solutions in accordance with the law and audiovisual demands " reports Marco Antonio Mello, commercial director of the company.
In addition, this year, ShowCase PRO brings new features such as the XDA QUAD, an integrated storage system that allows recording up to four channels simultaneously; ENC 50, a Closed Caption encoder for digital signal; and Sentinel, a real-time monitoring platform, which allows an overview of available accessibility resources.
Another theme presented at the fair is the continuity of the partnership with the Brazilian Digital Television Forum, which will have at its stand demonstrations of emergency signage (EWBS) created by ShowCase, as well as brand products such as automatic EPG, present at the IFN100.
