Mexico. seeUplay, Pixellot's local partner in Mexico, announced a major agreement with the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and Liga MX, whereby Pixellot technology will be deployed in the 18 clubs that make up Liga MX and their youth academies, in order to improve their performances through novel video training methods.
seeUplay, founded by veterans in Mexican sports marketing, offers a complete technological solution that is part of the FMF's Mexican Soccer Innovation Center and aims to improve the main national soccer league, Liga MX.
"seeUplay will help us homogenize the way we shoot videos and provide us with the same quality for all the teams of the National Team and Liga MX," said Victor Guevara, FmF's Director of Operations. "Pixellot is a core component of our intelligent training system that can follow players on the pitch, with information available at any time, whether it's a match or an official training session."
Pixellot's C Coaching systems are being installed in all Liga MX stadiums, training grounds and in the complex where the National Team trains; everything will be ready by the time they return to the 2018 National Clausura Tournament, which will begin on July 20. From then on, Liga MX will join dozens of professional clubs in Europe and China that already use the same Pixellot systems to improve their performances.
Pixellot's training solution generates panoramic coverage of the entire playing field by enabling a frame-by-frame review of each play and high-quality images of each player and a match tracking or performance analysis platform. With direct connectivity to the cloud, Pixellot images are sent to CTOs and video analysts with minimal delay, supporting real-time decision making and improving their workflows.
The Pixellot system comes with a plethora of production modules including automatic highlights, high-end graphics, tools for editing, score of goals, and audio of a commentator, play after play.
"Pixellot's technology will be instrumental in raising the level of the game thanks to its power as a tool for training. It is already in use at major Premier League clubs in England, La Liga in Spain and the German Bundesliga and we are pleased to make it available to the Mexican League," said Alón Werber, CEO of Pixellot.
