Latin America. Through a single master control, the Cortex 360 development, any station has the possibility to handle all workflows and devices, in addition to being equipped with an SNMP managed, which allows it to manage a maximum of up to 1024 GETs / SETs / TRAPs simultaneously in a broadcast station -radio or TV-, described Diana Ortega, technical representative for Latin America of Davicom.
"We are launching the new Product Cortex 360, which is a remote site management system, it is a brain on site: it allows to connect all the equipment on site. One of its novelties is that it now has an LED screen and a menu that allows ease of access and handling of the equipment as such. On the front panel we have all the necessary information and with easier indications. It has all kinds of inputs and outputs: USB, video, audio monitoring, serial connection and telephone line," he said.
The executive mentioned during NAB Show 2018: "Davicom systems have been distinguished by their optimal performance in remote management and control on site, with which total automation can be achieved. Our equipment has analog and digital inputs for smaller or larger stations, where the user can also connect a maximum of 800 physical inputs / outputs by adding our expansion panel called MEXM or any other MODBUS device. "
He stressed that the company's developments have a large presence in Latin American markets: "We are starting with the development and expansion in Latin America. This project began just over a year ago; basically we are making ourselves known in the region. Our headquarters are in Canada and we already have an important market in Mexico, thanks to the proximity and the Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) that unites us."
Ortega announced the company's plans during 2018: "But the idea is to enter all of Latin America. For this reason we are participating in several fairs, such as TecnoTelevisión & Radio last year; and this 2018 we will also participate and in Mexico we will be in Amitra in August. We look forward to participating in other fairs and shows to make ourselves known much more in the market and advance our expansion project."
