Peru. During 2017, the Transport and Communications sector, MTC, eliminated 14 procedures and modified another 89, within the framework of administrative simplification actions, participating in the Directorates Concessions in Communications, Authorizations in Telecommunications and Control and Supervision of Communications, among other dependencies.
Among the simplifications made, there are also the elimination of the requirements in which the "simple copy of the identity document of the natural person" was requested, "simple copy of the testimony of social constitution registered in accordance with the law" and "simple copy of the certificate of validity of power of attorney of the legal representative", also the reduction of the level of enforceability in the requirements in which the "simple copy of the certificate of skill of the engineer" was requested.
The MTC thus led the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers in the Executive Branch, during the second half of 2017, according to the ranking prepared by the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi).
Between July and December 2017, the MTC eliminated 359 obstacles or bureaucratic barriers that constituted illegal or unreasonable requirements, required of natural or legal persons for the completion of a procedure.
Indecopi also reported that in 2017 3288 bureaucratic barriers were eliminated throughout the State.
