Latin America. Evergent Technologies, a provider of cloud-based management solutions for video service providers, announced the opening of two new sales offices in Mumbai, India, and Sao Paulo, Brazil, which will serve the Indian, South Asian and South American markets and support customers and partners. Both regions are a key area of customer growth for Evergent.
In South America, Renato Cotrim joins Evergent as Regional Sales Director for South and Central America. Renato has more than 20 years of experience working at Microsoft, Ericsson, AT&T and IBM, supporting video and telecommunications service providers in the South American region. Renato holds an MBA and BS in Electrical Engineering.
In India, Manoj Padmanabhan joins Evergent as Regional Sales Director for India, SAARC and the Middle East. Manoj has over 20 years of experience and has worked with major consumer brands such as Videocon, Sansui, Toshiba, Tata Indicom, Zee, DittoTV and Eureka Mobile. Manoj holds an MBA and a BE in Industrial Electronics.
Both executives joined a team at Evergent that has doubled in the past 18 months as the company has worked hard to meet the demands of its exponential growth in OTT and cloud video user management services around the world.
According to Vijay Sajja, founder and CEO of Evergent, "The addition of these two veterans to our team is a huge win for Evergent – both are highly regarded in the industry. It also gives us the talent and leadership to focus 100 percent on the exponential growth taking place in these two key locations. We understand the issues facing video service providers in global markets and work hard to provide solutions that benefit our customers' global reach, taking into account local diversification, cultural differences and much more."
The two new regional directors will serve customers and partner sales in their respective regions and provide direct support when and where needed.
