Argentina. The Argentine technology solutions company BVS closed 2017 with a turnover of US$50 MM and the inauguration of its new headquarters in the Belgrano neighborhood. During 2017, he completed projects with renowned companies such as Telefe, Artear, Telefónica, Encompass, among others. For 2018 its objectives are to continue evolving with the outstanding partners with whom they work and provide their customers with the right solutions in an ecosystem in permanent transformation.
"We are an Argentine company that provides end-to-end technological solutions; more and more integrations are being made. The context of 2017 was favorable, both technologically and economically, which allows investments to be made in technologies as disruptive as those we offer," explains Facundo Favelukes, president of BVS. "Our balance for 2017 is very positive. We strengthen our talents and expand initiatives in the region," he adds.
BVS has two main business units: BTI and IT Technology. On the one hand it is aimed at the BTI sector (Broadcast and IT) since it offers from the camera of the film set to the set-top box to watch TV when working with strategic partners such as Hitachi, Arri, Chyronhego, Harmonic, Evertz, among others. In addition, in this segment they are a Platinum Partner of DELL EMC.
On the other hand, BVS presents the IT Technology unit, which managed to become a Cisco Gold Partner, for its ability to increase productivity through the continuous incorporation of new technologies and the automation of its internal processes. Thus, VHL provides infrastructure and communications solutions, designs, implements, optimizes and supports them.
14 years ago, the Favelukes brothers created VHL with an initial investment of US$ 2000. Today, with a trajectory of sustained growth of 50% per year, they have more than 150 direct and more than 400 indirect sources of work. Although their business is strongly based (80%) on imports, they bet on the technological development of Argentina and neighboring countries.
In 2017 they moved to 'their new home', as Facundo Favelukes refers, to channel and enhance all that growth. They are currently in the heart of Belgrano, in a building that has three floors and 1200 square meters. The production companies Cuatro Cabezas and Eyeworks worked there. After redistributing spaces they managed to condition different rooms, the Datacenter, an auditorium, the offices, a kitchen for 40 people, two terraces and a garden in which to hold the events that characterize them, with friends and clients.
"Expectations for 2018 are set on more expansion and investment opportunities. Last year we started with our offices in Montevideo and we currently have a local presence in Chile and we are starting to have it in Paraguay and Bolivia. Here we go. We want to remain leading integrators. Our focus is on quality and service, which is why we look for the best talent through the internship program and young professionals of the company to develop new businesses," Favelukes concluded.
