Mexico. To talk about Televisa is to talk about the history of television in Mexico. It is the largest Spanish-speaking media company and a global benchmark in the entertainment market. Televisa recently acquired multiple Igson solutions for its regional channels in Mexico.
The acquisition of Igson Production Play comes as a powerful booth playout for Televisa Regional, with the main purpose of technologically renewing the workflows of its production booths, offering better results in terms of the immediacy of access to the contents and their correct reproduction during live programming.
Now with Igson Production Play, in addition to the fact that with the help of their virtual keypads they have at their disposal the video material and streams to be broadcast when they require it, all the content can be segmented virtually in an instant and also recorded in HD for the subsequent rebroadcast or as a witness recording.
Specifically, for this project, three-channel channel-in-box solutions were required, made up of Igson Production Play of two playout channels, plus a pre/ingest channel to perform video editing (trim, subclip, audio control, playlist realization and multiformat ingestion).
Each playout channel has a button ready to shoot videos and streams for live productions. The playouts were complemented by Igson Graphics for the creation of graphics and characters, with which they can dress their image with ribbons, tickers, videos such as graphic events, clocks, credits, stopwatches, and much more, in the different regions of Mexico.
