Latin America. NewTek launched the world's first PTZ camera that is ready to use. With NDI's native functionality, this revolutionary IP video camera streams full 3G 1080p60 video directly to NDI-compatible™ products over a standard network. The NewTek NDI camera connects to the network and offers ultra-clear video and audio, as well as counting, PTZ control and power on a single Ethernet cable.
Once connected to the network, the camera is visible to all systems compatible with the latest version of NDI, including: LiveStream Studio, SplitmediaLabs XSplit, Streamstar®, OBS Studio, StudioCoast vMix, Telestream Wirecast, NewTek TriCaster® and hundreds more. More sources are available immediately with the simple addition of NDI cameras to the network. Once available on the network, the NewTek NDI camera is also automatically recognized by applications such as GoToMeeting™, Skype™, Skype for Business, Zoom Media and many others.
"There have been some tipping points in the image streaming industry that have provided profound benefits, such as the transition from ribbon cutting editing to non-linear editing. The move to IP-based production is one of those unique moments in our industry," said Andrew Cross, president and CTO of NewTek.
He added that "the transition is happening rapidly because it is being driven by customer demand. Producers recognize that this technology simplifies their work, and at the same time expands their opportunity to create more and better shows. Now, with the availability of NewTek's NDI cameras and others that are sure to follow, IP-based production is here."
The NewTek NDI camera is available immediately.
