Latin America. The penetration of IP-based technologies is making a difference in the broadcast and video distribution industries in Latin America. And in this, a company of tradition like NewTek, is offering innovative solutions, said Filippo Ferlini, director of Sales Operations for Latin America and the Caribbean of NewTek.
"For us it is a very important moment, of conversion of the industry, of revolution. It is an industry that is looking for new ways of working, for example, the transmission of content over the Internet, on social networks. Working with different environments is working with a lot of flexibility. The expectations are very good, the Mexican market is fundamental for us."
And he stated: "Latin America is a strong, stable, continuously growing market and where our operation is very satisfactory."
Although the segment of transmission cameras is a priority for other companies, NewTek is offering solutions for specific niches: "We present to the Mexican market NDI3, which is an evolution of our NDI protocol, which allows us to be more effective with the resources we currently have. In addition, we present a PTZ camera, which connects to NDI natively and two converters -from HDMI to NDI-. In Mexico we presented our TriCaster TCI1 system, which is our IP-based production system, it is the first time we have it in an exhibition in Latin America and it is the evolution of the TriCaster system, "said the executive.
Ferlini detailed: "TCI1 is based on the IP protocol, it can work on up to 16 inputs in 4K 60p. It's a system that can be assembled like Legos, according to your needs, all IP-based with all the needs this offers."
