Nicaragua. On July 24 and 25, representatives of central American public service television channels met in Managua to participate in the Central American Network Programming Strip Workshop.
This workshop was held in order to establish a working methodology among the televisions that are members of the common initiative to elaborate a thematic strip of common programming of one hour, decide on a visual identity for this space of Central American content, elaborate a manual of style and start working on the first pilot programs, as well as consolidating the Central America Network initiative.
Present at these days were the National Radio and Television System (SINART) of Costa Rica, the National Television of El Salvador (TVES) – Channel 10, the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television – (ICRT), the State Radio and Television System (SERTV) of Panama, National Radio and Television of Honduras, as well as representatives of Channel 6 of Nicaragua and the TEIb Program.
With the celebration of this Workshop, continuity was given to the actions and decisions taken in the Technological Seminar that took place last May in the city of Madrid (Spain).
