NAB. Adobe showcased advances in its full line of video technologies and services that enhance the way TELEVISION producers, filmmakers, and video professionals create, collaborate, deliver, and monetize content across multiple screens.
NAB was the setting for the first public preview of major updates to Adobe Creative Cloud video tools, including a revolutionary new Premiere Pro CC color panel for instant color corrections, and Morph Cut that easily eliminates unwanted editing pauses and skips for a more polished editing sequence. as well as new Character Animator capabilities for After Effects CC that bring two-dimensional characters to life.
In addition, the company unveiled a sneak peek of Project "Candy," a CC Capture mobile app that was recently incorporated into the growing family of Create Cloud-enabled mobile apps. Project "Candy" connects to a user's Creative Cloud Profile and allows someone using their smartphone's camera to capture production-quality lighting schemes and then apply them to the Premiere Pro CC video stream.
The enhancements also include Adobe Primetime, which allows you to stream TV content across a variety of screens including sophisticated (OTT) devices like Apple TV and Roku. In particular, Adobe unveiled innovations for video delivery, monetization and personalization to deliver new business models to content owners, programmers and pay-TV providers.
It also previewed a new setup for Adobe Anywhere, a collaboration platform that allows distributed teams using products like Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Prelude CC to work together – using centralized media and shared projects to record, record, edit and finish video productions.
Adobe will soon release important updates to the video tools and technologies that are a key component of Creative Cloud.
