Latin America. Audio Precision announced the availability of its test package that enables Dolby MS11 compliance testing through APx series audio analyzers. The Dolby MS11 Multistream Decoder offers a solution for decoding all premium broadcast audio formats.
As TVs and set-top boxes evolve towards multi-purpose digital media platforms, electronics manufacturers must navigate a wide variety of audio codecs while providing consumers with a seamless entertainment experience. The Dolby Multistream Decoder MS11 is a solution that reduces for manufacturers the complexity of integrating multiple audio technologies into new receivers.
To help simplify the testing process for Dolby MS11 licensees, AP's application engineering team, in cooperation with Dolby's compliance engineering group, has created an MS11-test suite specific to APx series audio analyzers and APX500 audio test software. The package automates most of the required tests and reduces the total effort required to complete the information process.
Audio Precision compliance test packages are available exclusively for Dolby, as part of the features included in Dolby System Development Kits (SDKs) for specific technologies, including MS11. These trial packages are provided at no cost to Dolby licensees, but the appropriate APx Series audio analyzer is required to operate.
