Latin America. New versions of its Tricaster system presented to the market the company Newtek, among which are the update of the 8,000 for version 2.0, as well as the new 460 and 860, which add resources to raise the quality of the productions of each television channel.
Newtek's sales director for Latin America, Ralph Messana, explained to TV Y VIDEO that among the new features are the management of animated graphics without using a DVR, and functions to control the Tricaster more easily in live events and non-traditional segments.
"Our new line has two approaches, the first is the 8,000, our top for broadcast, and the second is the 460 and the 860 aimed at medium and small channels and other segments in which the use of the Tricaster is growing, for which we are also presenting the 410, that has four SDI tickets and at a low cost," he said.
A particular fact that Ralph Messana revealed , is the growth of the market for the Tricaster in universities and churches. Universities are starting to use Newtek's system a lot for distance education programs. In Latin America, examples of this type can be found in Brazil. In addition, in the production and transmission of company seminars.
"We have in Colombia two particular cases in which two churches are using our top system for the production of content and the transmission of their meetings via streaming or to their own channels. In general, anyone who has a production idea can develop it with the Tricaster," said the manager.
On the Latin market for Newtek this year, he said that it has been very successful, especially because they have entered new countries such as Uruguay and Paraguay, both with a lot of interest in new technologies for broadcasting.
