MADRID, 10 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -
Indra has won a contract of 49 million reais (17 million euros) with the Brazilian Banco do Nordeste (BNB), to implement a business management platform that supports its corporate and business areas, as reported by the company itself.
The company will provide a comprehensive service, ranging from consulting, planning, design and construction of the solution, to user training and technical support and maintenance work.
Indra has indicated that the project will be developed on the SAP solution and will facilitate the automation and integrated management of the areas of planning, logistics and heritage, people management, bank accounting and internal controls.
For the multinational consulting and technology company, the main benefits of the project include the integration of Banco do Nordeste's back-office and business processes, the reduction of operating costs, and the implementation of "best" practices in quality, confidentiality and information security. In addition, greater agility and flexibility will be provided to the activities and businesses of the financial institution, he added.
"This project has a high strategic value due above all to the important role that the bank represents as an engine of economic and social development in its area of action, northeast region, north of Minas Gerais and Espiritu Santo, through the technical and financial training of its productive agents," he concluded.
