The LinxTM 3200 mixer offers full HDCP encryption support for multiple stream devices and data streams from remote computers. The HDCP language prevents unauthorized distribution or copying of protected content. The mixer designed to handle this system and not lower the quality of the encrypted signal, routes the signal to several outputs simultaneously, and supports HDCP-compatible data flow repeaters, such as distribution amplifiers, extenders or other matrix switches. It also complies with the specification of distributing a source to a maximum of 128 compatible devices and a maximum of seven "layers" that include repeaters, switches or distribution amplifiers, and final projection devices. Thus, a signal from a Blu-Ray player through a distribution amplifier in a matrix switch and distributed to three screens and a projector will add three layers and six devices.
