Four of Panasonic's products were honored as the best of the year at the EISA Awards. The four awarded products were the DMP-BD50 as European Blue-ray Player 2008-2009; the DIGA DMR-EH68/685 as a European DVD/HDD burner 2008-2009; the VIERA TH-46PZ85 as the best European plasma TV 2008-2009 and the Lumix DMC TZ5 as the European compact camera 2008-2009.
It should be remembered that the EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) is an association formed by some of the most outstanding publications on consumer electronics in Europe and consists of 49 members of magazines from 18 countries of the old continent.
Joachim Reinhart, President and CEO of Panasonic Europe, said: "We are very proud to once again receive four EISA awards, proposed by leading European journalists in the consumer electronics sector. We will continue to work on improving our product range and contribute to everyone being able to enjoy life more." The special EISA Awards 2008 gala was held at the IFA in Berlin on 29 August.
