Sony Projectors
During the last version of InfoComm, Sony exhibited its line of LCD projectors; this exhibition ranged from entry-level compact units to networked complete system models. A feature of almost all of them is Sony's exclusive BrightEra™ imaging technology, designed to produce a higher aperture dimensional ratio and allow projectors to deliver higher resolution and quieter fan operation.
Of the four newly introduced models in the newest generation of the Sony VPL-E Series of compact models, three are based on BrightEra technology: VPL-EX50, VPL-EX5 and VPL-EW5. All have been designed for commercial applications and are suitable specifically for classrooms and conference rooms. These devices have a short-distance lens that allows projection on large screens from very short distances, an advantage for meeting rooms or smaller classrooms.
