High definition history

Not always what we do today is what we have thought for our life, many times the world changes and we realize that we must change with it; however, for other people, life and destiny, together with their tastes and hobbies, lead them to achieve their dreams, as is the case of Luis Alberto Vásquez from Colombia.

Vásquez, is a 44-year-old from Bogota, graduated in Social Communication with an emphasis on  electronic media and with a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management, serves as General Director of Eleven Producciones with his brothers Andrés and Daniel, who serve as executive producer of the company and as Manager of Media Concept (another of the companies). from Eleven Productions), respectively.

Since 1993, Eleven Producciones has provided communication solutions for the events market, offering a portfolio of services in technical production and content design. Within the company there are other companies such as Media Concept, where pieces are developed in High Definition for Cinema, video, commercials, multimedia and formats applicable to events such as widescreen and 3D. There are also Visual FX, a company that since 2002 specialized in visual effects for events, presentations and television programs; and Audio Corp, which since 2001, has become an organization providing professional sound amplification services for corporate events.

For Alberto and his family, this is a business that every day is growing and evolving more in Latin America, since the reactivation of the economy in most of the area has benefited the entry of new audio and video technologies, which now only take a few days to reach the country, unlike a few years ago, where the "latest technology" entered the Latin AV industry when in the rest of the world other types of technological advances were already handled.

But Alberto's life is not limited only to the labor field, his family is one of the most fundamental aspects of his existence, since together with his wife Ana María and his daughter Silvana he has grown every day more as a professional and human being, a growth that his parents and siblings also support, as reflected in the history of the organization, which began when Alberto worked at Sony Music.

At this time they began the purchase of equipment and the execution of events with the support of  his father, Luis Jorge Vásquez (pensioner of NCR) and his other brother Andrés, who was studying Advertising.

For 1993 Eleven Producciones was born and from there its work has been constant, so much so that the company has received twice the Rental & Staging System Award, the most important international award in the technical production of corporate and entertainment events; and the CAVSP Certification (Certified Audiovisual Solutions Provider), granted by ICIA, InfoComm, in addition to having achieved certification in the quality management system in the ISO 9001-2000 standard, granted by the firm SGS.

Today, 14 years after creating his own company and getting fully involved in the AV industry, Alberto is proud, not only for the development of his company and its collaborators, but for being an important part of a united family that helps him day by day.
