Telestream presents new products that seek to solve compatibility and file transfer problems, in the current environments of centralized networks of broadcast, production and new media.
Among the products it presents is the FlipFactory HD, for broadcasters and content owners, simplifying converting multi-format media sources to HD formats.
The Flip4Mac digital media tools for the Macintosh will also be presented, offering greater support of formats and platforms. Among the new capabilities is the option to power Apple Final Cut Pro directly from Ikegami Editcam Broadcast cameras for editing.
The new import-export Flip4Mac FCP components offer media file transfer between Grass Valley K2, Profile, Turbo and M-Series servers and Final Cut Pro systems. These products, as well as the new support for Sony XDCAM proxy low-resolution workflows, were on display at NAB.
Other Telestream products that were presented are: MAPreview, which simplifies the capture of media from multiple sources, logging and monitoring; MAP Media Access, for Microsoft SharePoint; the full FlipFactory family, including Pro, TrafficManager, and NewsManager; the release of personal applications for IP media delivery for Mac and PC, and the company's flagship applications: the MPEG ClipMail for IP media encoding and delivery.
