Connect IP, one of three new connectivity solutions, provides the intelligent, trauma-free interconnection interface to IP-based networks. The 19-inch/1RU unit enables matrix-to-array, matrix-to-control panel connections, and the distribution of audio lines over IP.
The interface converts an AES3 stream and can be configured according to the need for individual bandwidths, always providing an unparalleled combination of audio quality and low network traffic. The scalable bandwidth results in audio quality up to 20 kHz at 230 Kbit/s, while the 3.5 kHz (85 dB) standard only requires 40 Kbit/s.
Connect IP devices support remote user control via the panel, which provides full connection to the Artist 1000 or 2000 series control panel arrays via a fully functional IP network.
Connect Solo is the only device required for trauma-free connection between intercom systems to the public telephone network. It can be operated directly from the Artist control panel or through the integrated keyboard and provides a large fully graphic screen.
Riedel's Connect Duo provides a solution to the intelligent and seamless intercom interface to the outside world using the RSDI and RTBC public telephone networks. It combines an ISDN S0 interface, which allows two simultaneous connections using two ISDN B-channels, and a hybrid for traditional analog line in a compact 1/2RU device, which makes it an ideal solution for mobile units as well as for other applications. Connect Duo can be configured directly from the Riedel director software or optionally from the Windows configuration software.
Riedel also introduces its new generation of Artist intercom systems.
