Focus Enhancements, company specialized in video production and technologies for conversion, and Panasonic, developer of the DVCPRO products, announced the next launch of the line FireStore FS-100 Direct To Portable Disc Burners Edit (DTE) HD for the new Panasonic AG-HVX200 DVCPRO camera HD P2.
As an official partner of Panasonic P2, Focus Enhancements optimized the FireStore recorder FS-100 DTE for the new handheld camera AG-HVX200 DVCPRO HD P2, of Panasonic, extending its storage capacity, in a backup and digital recording solution on disc. The FireStore FS-100 allows you to record DV/DVCPRO, DVCPRO video streams 50 or DVCPRO HD via FireWire, in the field.
The recorder can be connected then to the computer for content editing directly from FireStore, eliminating the need to scan. In the DVCPRO HD and DVCPRO 50 mode, clips are recorded to disc in MXF P2 format. In DV and DVCPRO mode, users can choose among NLE's most popular formats, including Avid OMF, Avid OMF, Canopus AVI, Matrox AVI and more.
Broadcast professionals and filmmakers who work with HD will have a complete solution for material acquisition that will boost the overall workflow in video production, saving time and money.
This duo improves the work in field and in studio, offering direct-to-disk capabilities and direct to edition that like the same P2, reduce the time between acquisition and distribution.
