Harris Corporation announced the acquisition of Encoda Systems, a provider of software solutions for the broadcasting industry. Encoda's workflow products include industry-widespread traffic, scheduling and billing systems, as well as automation and asset management solutions that complement Harris' automation businesses.
The new product portfolio will enable Harris to serve cable and satellite markets by offering end-to-end solutions to any media content creation, management or distribution organization.
