Kino Flo Photo Flo 200 and 400 Kino Flo has created a new line of True Match softlights for fashion and portrait photography called Foto-Flos. The new Foto-Flo 400 and Foto-Flo 200 systems operate like the company's traditional lights but these models use a new ballast that can be mounted as fixed accessories for onboard control, or can also be removed for remote operation. This makes manual operation or tripod mounting simple without sacrificing the option of remote drive. Foto-Flo fonts come with a new twist-on center mount that allows for 360-degree rotation. For multiple purposes Lowel presented a solution that maintains the versatility of fluorescent lights. LowelScandles Light provides a 200 Watt light source with balance for daylight or tungsten lighting from 24 Watt lamps, connected in pairs for quick output adjustment. This design allows for high source efficiency of 220 Foot Candles 5 feet away. It can also be used with 18 Watt lamps. LowelScandles is designed for use with Chimera type light boxes and for this it has a universal rotation ring for the installation of accessories such as Plume, Chimera, Westcott and Photoplex, among others. Its ballast is free of flickers.
