Latin America. Focused on the optical sector of the TV and film industries, Schneider-Kreuznach offers a wide range of lenses for cameras of the main brands, such as ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon, Blackmagic Design, among many others. Although still with a moderate presence in Latin American markets, the company is looking to expand its business in the region, said Niki Mustain, Sales Manager at Schneider-Kreuznach.
"As a global company we handle several product lines. In this NAB 2018 we show our FF-Prime lenses, lenses of the Xenon line, our classic Super 35 optics; also our Xenon full frame lenses. We also have filters for television and cinema, which is our next showcase of products in this show; we have some new filters that will be launched this year and we add to our secondary offer – although no less important – very appreciated by the way, with an anamorphic variety, as well as a rainbow one that emulates the lenses without coding as a multicolored feature, "described the executive.
Mustain mentioned Schneider-Kreuznach's presence in Latin America: "Latin America is not a market in which we have developed. That's in our short-term plan in the coming years; expand our offer for Latin America and even other markets. We need to have a presence, definitely.
He said that they already have some customers in the region: "In Mexico we have a good establishment of our business and I am sure that we have good contact in Brazil, in Colombia and a modest position in Argentina. Of course we are looking to attract other countries to our business, however through these countries we can reach others within the region."
