Argentina. From July all users of Cine.Ar Play will be able to enjoy national audiovisual content on mobile devices with iOs operating system. That is, iPhone phones, iPad tablets and all mobile phones associated with Apple's operating system are already compatible with the free video-on-demand platform Cine.Ar Play.
With this latest launch, Arsat (Empresa Argentina de Soluciones Satelitales Sociedad Anónima) and INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales) cover the entire market share that currently presents the smartphone and mobile device market in Argentina.
Soon news will be announced regarding the availability of the Cine.Ar Play app on devices and Smart TVs of different international brands. Meanwhile, to access the Cine.Ar Play app from an iOS device, users must enter iTunes, download the app, generate a user or use the one they already have to use Cine.Ar Play from the web platform and finally choose the Argentine audiovisual content they prefer.
In this way, Cine.Ar Play not only increases the presence of Argentine cinema and national series in the OTT (Over the Top) market, but also the number of users who currently access this free service grows.
During May, two months after its rebranding, CINE.AR PLAY reached significant records both in new users entered (19,458), in users with visualizations (37,862) and in total of visualizations (160,266) of all the audiovisual content available to the platform.
Arsat also developed CINE.AR Premieres, included in the CINE AR PLAY app, through which you can see the premieres of national cinema in a transactional way. That is, for an economic price, users can see where and when they want the Argentine films that are released on the billboard through the web portal CINE.AR Premieres, paying the same price as a ticket of the CINE.AR theaters.
