Mexico. Eduardo Solana, senior regional sales manager for Latin America at Avid, reported that during Expo Cine, TV y Video 2016 – an exhibition held in Mexico City – they showed customers in the region their new integration with Orad.
"This year we decided to put a booth again at Expo Cine, Video y TV 2016 to show the unification between Avid and Orad, of our new part of video with audio consoles. To have the complete workflow so that people see the united solutions of both companies," he said.
And he evaluated: "With the incorporation of Orad we have done very well. We realize that it is a very strong brand; we are in new areas and customers where we were not clearly connected to the production part. They have high quality products at a very attractive price and the future is very interesting on that side."
Solana mentioned the advantages of Orad's solutions in the Avid range. "Now we have a much broader portfolio, with all the graphics, branding, virtual sets, replay, and we have already started to assemble the first graphics integration with the video part. We have a master plug-in with MediaComposer, all connectivity with iNews. This relationship is beginning to be reflected in all our platforms."
