Latin America. During the last version of NAB Show, Adobe showed the trends in product development that it will be launching to the market in the coming months. Gustavo Brunser, director of development for Latin America, told TVyVideo+Radio some of these developments.
"Adobe Premiere now includes a new proxy stream linking the high-resolution image, such as 4K and 8K. In addition, color flow capabilities were expanded, with access to secondary colors and masks. Another aspect added to Premiere, which had a lot of impact from the public is the work with virtual reality, with the possibility of editing images recorded with 360-degree cameras. These are the three fundamental novelties of Premiere," he said.
In the case of audio, a panel was created for the Adobe Audition that provides the possibility of working with audio for those who are not a professional in the field. This panel gives a simple view on common solutions that the user is looking for, without entering the deep controls, which are available to those who have the necessary technical knowledge.
"This product is a response to the new realities of the industry, in which production times are shorter and more and more content has to be produced at the same time. And that has to do with the multichannel and multi-screen trend. That is why we seek to make it more accessible so that a single person can do the complete work without wasting time," explained Gustavo Brunser.
Finally, he pointed out that the company's growth in Latin America is focused on film editing solutions, taking advantage of the development that this industry has had in the region during the last years thanks to a greater production.
